Do I need a permit for boating and fishing?

If visiting a community and you wish to fish, check with the local Landholding office for your local fishing permit. A permit from the province of Quebec is also necessary. To be more specific, for Category 1 and 2 lands both a Landholding permit and a Quebec fishing permit is required. For Category 3 lands, only a Quebec permit is required.
