When I was a young teen I read all that I could on the Inuit. I was captured by the values and lifestyle. It opened my mind as to how our environment shapes our values. Many years have gone by since my original reading but the lessons I learned from those books have had a major influence on my desire to understand and appreciate other people.
I was just navigating your website and it is just wonderful. Maybe its time that I take a trip and visit you. I think it should be among the 100 things I do before I die.

I was utterly stunned to see the beautiful aura borealis (aksarnerk) photos in your guest book.
Very impressed with the Education system that promotes the use and development of the Inuktitut language.
I believe that maintaining the use of their forbearer's language affirms and strengthens the identity of the student as an Inuit.
Qujannamiik for showing me the insight into your wonderful culture and environment

An old friend
Hi to everyone. I am Caroline who went to Inukjuak at the age of 12 with my class and returned with a friend 13 years later. I always hold a special place in my heart for this town and it's people.
Thank you for the memories

Merci!

this is such a good reminder of my late family in Povungnituq Nunavik I had been born and raised in Iqaluit Baffin Island but my late parent were from Inukjuaq and Povungnituq back in the sixties.. moved away for medical reason.
It would be so nice if and this sight can show more pictures of the elders from each Nunavik residents qujannamii
